The Roy Hyatt Environmental Center’s Annual Night of Nature is coming up on Friday, March 6, 2020, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
This is a FREE event and open to the public.
There will be reptiles out for everyone to meet. You can visit with the Wildlife Sanctuary of Northwest Florida and their birds of prey. While here (if it is a clear night) you will be able to peer through telescopes with the Escambia Amateur Astronomy Association. When you arrive be sure to sign up for one of the planetarium shows (only three shows and space is limited so be sure to sign up as soon as you arrive to save your spot – no early registration). You can also sign up to go on one of the many naturalist-led night hikes through the woods learning about creatures of the night Be sure to bring your wallet so you can bid on one of the many items in our Silent Auction. If you are hungry you can purchase food from one of the two food trucks that will be on-site, 3-D Eats! and Kona Ice.
It is a FREE event, but remember we LOVE donations!
