   You’ve taken some mighty fine photos. That last one of the osprey carrying its dinner is really spectacular.

   Shawn, enjoying your photos and trip descriptions. A group of us from Houston who travel to Florida every other year are looking at Ft. Pickens. Can you kayak there from the mainland, say from around Ft. Barrancas? Thanks

   Hi Chris, thanks! Yes you could kayak to Fort Pickens from Fort Barrancas. There could be strong currents and waves being that it’s the pass into the Gulf.
