The area known as Gibb’s Point is located on the Bayou Grande and includes water access for kayaking as well as over 3 miles in walking paths. We spent the first part of our visit walking the sidewalks. We took turns climbing a tree that was planted near the water’s edge.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy the outdoors that is still close to everything, come visit Bayview Park in Pensacola. It is a great place for everyone-young and old.

If you are looking for a fun and historic spot to visit try Fort Pickens on Santa Rosa Island. Fort Pickens is located on the far west side of Pensacola Beach.

The Big Lagoon State Park Kayak Trail weaves it’s way through salt marshes. There is a large variety of wildlife at Big Lagoon State Park to enjoy.
