The area known as Gibb’s Point is located on the Bayou Grande and includes water access for kayaking as well as over 3 miles in walking paths. We spent the first part of our visit walking the sidewalks. We took turns climbing a tree that was planted near the water’s edge.

Living on the gulf coast, we always choose campsites with swimming access and other activities. However, during the times of hanging out and enjoying our campsite, I would like to have a variety of activities for the kids to do.

If your kids are like ours, they are active and need food. . . often. When hiking or busy with camping activities, you will have happier kids with more focused energy if you make sure they have plenty of great healthy snacks.

Garcon Point Trail Located in Milton, Florida has a 1.7 mile loop and a 1.2 mile spur off that trail. Today we hiked the 1.2 mile spur then walked back to the trail-head along Garcon Point Road.
